Social Therapy and the Learning Disabled
Berent Associates offers a specialized approach to social therapy for individuals with learning problems who present challenges with social anxiety, social skills deficits, relationship difficulties, dependent personality syndrome, and independence and “survival skills” challenges. Therapy is available for adults, adolescents, and children.
Treatment takes into consideration the functioning level of each individual. The program includes individual therapy, corrective parenting, and group therapy; when indicated.
It is highly recommended that if you relate to the information on this page, either for yourself or a dependent, please send for our social- ability questionnaire to determine the severity of the social handicap. This profile has been tested extensively with the learning disabled population and is available at no cost. 516-872-9383.
